Since 2014 Captains Cup: A Cause for Haws has been putting on a 6v6 adult memorial soccer tournament in honor of Green Bay native, Ashley Haws. Through this memorial tournament along with the addition of the Kick Off Party in 2016, Captains Cup funds the Ashley Haws Memorial Endowed Scholarship at St. Norbert College. After the event in 2017 we were able to fully fund the endowment, allowing for scholarships to begin to be awarded again (an initial scholarship was awarded in 2014 prior to establishing the endowment)!

Our Generous Sponsors
We cannot thank our sponsors and donors enough! Without their dedication to the cause and their continued support the Captains Cup: A Cause for Haws would not be what it is today and we would not be able to support students through Ashley's scholarship.
Ashley Haws, esq. amazeballs
A graduate of Bay Port High School and St. Norbert College, Ashley excelled both academically and athletically. She truly epitomized the title of ‘captain’ as she led both her SNC and Bay Port soccer teams to success on and off the field. Following her time at SNC, Ashley continued to chase her dreams of becoming a lawyer and eventually landed an Associate Attorney position in Chicago. Described as a rising star in the law community, Ashley was actively involved in many organizations. She continued to play in soccer leagues, never giving up the game she loved so much.
Ashley was taken from us too soon and will be missed dearly.
